Selkirk Sport launches first-ever pickleball combine to identify future stars
Selkirk Sport is raising the bar for player development with the launch of the Selkirk Sparta Program — and its first-ever pickleball combine, taking place Sept. 22–24 at Selkirk’s headquarters in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Over three days, 12 hand-selected athletes (six men and six women) will undergo next-gen performance testing — including agility, speed, strength, and skill assessments — plus professional coaching from Morgan Evans to evaluate their readiness for the pro circuit. The goal: identify and support pickleball’s next generation of stars.
Xcel Padel to Open Nation’s Largest Indoor Padel Club

Guests will step inside the future of sport and lifestyle, discovering why padel, the fastest-growing sport on the planet, is already hailed as the “Country Club of the 21st Century.”
Padel, a doubles racquet sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, is fast-paced yet low-impact, making it as inviting for beginners as it is competitive for seasoned athletes. The sport already counts more than 25 million players worldwide, with global icons such as David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Serena Williams, and Leonardo DiCaprio among its enthusiasts.

Unleash Your Tennis: Aceii One, the AI Hitting Partner That Trains, Teaches, and Competes
For tennis players, one of the toughest challenges isn’t the sport itself—it’s finding the right partner, keeping up consistent practice, and affording quality coaching. Aceii One, the world’s first AI-powered tennis hitting partner, is here to change that.
Developed by robotics and sports-tech startup Aceii, Aceii One is more than a ball machine. It’s designed as a true on-court companion: a partner that rallies, a coach that guides, and a competitor that challenges. Earlier this year, Aceii One was demonstrated in Los Angeles and New York during the US Open period. Influencers, coaches, and players had the chance to test the machine, and feedback was unanimous: it felt closer to a real hitting partner than any traditional ball machine.
Captain Agassi Guides Team World to Laver Cup glory
Team World, captained by Andre Agassi, captured Laver Cup San Francisco 2025 in dramatic style, with Taylor Fritz sealing victory by defeating Alexander Zverev after his breakthrough win over Carlos Alcaraz the night before. The triumph marked redemption for Fritz, who fell to Alcaraz in last year’s decisive match, and set the stage for a champagne-soaked celebration. As the tournament looks ahead, Laver Cup announced its return to London’s O2 Arena from September 25–27, 2026—the first time the event will revisit a host city since its launch in 2017. The O2 famously staged Roger Federer’s emotional retirement in 2022, and organizers say demand from fans and sponsors makes London the ideal venue for fresh memories in the next chapter of the competition.
